Brand Protocole commenced distribution of the traditional Buzzy Bee pull-along toy from 11 November 2013 and since developed a range of products embracing the world and characters of Buzzy Bee and friends including the full range of wooden toys and a New Zealand made bathroom products range.

On 1 April 2019 Lion Rock Licensing Limited licensed Brand Protocole with the exclusive rights to make and distribute to all New Zealand retailers, all toys and merchandise associated with the Buzzy Bee & friends brand including the rights to sub-licence Category Merchandise Licences to other New Zealand wholesalers to make and sell specific category toys and branded merchandise to New Zealand retailers.
